Following the reading of these applications there was a short discussion <br />among the Councilmembers with regards to same. On motion of Councilman Madsen <br />seconded by Councilman Orloff and with all present in favor of same the Clerk <br />was instructed to advise the State Board of Equalization that the Council had <br />no objections to these applications for licenses being considered and the <br />respective licenses issued. <br />The Clerk reported on his visit to the Civil Works Administration office <br />in Oakland and his conference with Messrs. Shaw and Studebaker of the Engineering <br />Department. Also that he anticipated that some word would be heard from the <br />Oakland office within a weeks time. The Clerk also reported that Mr. Garatti� <br />had taken up the matter of the lights with the Pacific Gas & Electric Company,;'. <br />and that as*soon as the necessary recquisi,tion for same had been prepared that <br />the company would install the lights. <br />There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:55 to meet in <br />regular session on Zueeday evning, January 2, 1936. <br />/// .. <br />Approved: [ erk . <br />9or <br />Pleasanton, California, January 2, 1934. <br />The .own Council of the Town of Pleasanton was called to order at 7:30 <br />P. M. on the above written date with Mayor A. B. Pickard presiding.
