THE CLERK was instructed to contact Mr. <br />Otho Ke.efe.to obtain Fire Theft co.verage <br />for the new tractor in the amount of $1,000.00 and to'clarify Pub Liability cover- <br />age at Sewage Treatment Plant. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2140 calling for re- apportionment of the So. Alameda County Assembly <br />District of the Assembly Interim Committee was adopted on motion of Councilman <br />Trimingham, seconded by Councilman Hansen and approved by all Councilmen present. <br />RESOLUTION 21+1 "Notice to Bidders" calling for Bid for new Police car. Specifica- <br />tions to be on file in Clerk's office. Bids to be opened at the next regular meet- <br />ing (3/5/51) Adopted on motion of Councilman Abrott, seconded by Councilman Triming- <br />ham and approved by all Councilmen present. <br />MAYOR OXSEN informed the Council that the monthly water pumping bill, as presented <br />to the City of S.F. had been returned as the water level at the Town well had raised <br />to .21 :4.o ft. Therefore the Town would not receive reimbursements, until such time <br />that the water level might main fall below the aggreed level. <br />MAYOR OXSEN stated that the tree in front of Shackelton's old house would have to <br />be removed as the new owners wish to put in a new sidewalk and curb. <br />THE CLERK was'instructed to obtain information regarding $50.00 Deductable and Rent- <br />al of Police car following November accident from 0. Keefe. <br />COUNCILMAN TRIMINGHAM reported that the trees, had been trimmed on Pleasanton Ave. <br />at the Fair Grounds. <br />THE CLERK was instructed to write the Merchant's Basketball Team congratulating <br />them upon winning their championship. <br />THE CLERK was also instructed to write to Supervisor Stanley conveying the "get <br />well wishes" of the Council. <br />THERE BEING no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourn- <br />ed 10 :35 P.M. to meet again in regular session on March 5, 1951,, at 7: :30 P.N. <br />Pleasanton, California <br />March 5, 1951 <br />The Council of the Town of Pleasanton met in regular session at 7 :30 P.M. on <br />the above date with Councilman Hansen in the chair. Roll call showed: Councilmen <br />Hansen Trimingham and Abrott present. <br />Absent Mayor Oxsen and Councilman Hewitson, due to illness <br />Councilman Hansen was requested by the two Jr. Councilmen to act as Mayor in the <br />absence of Mayor Oxsen. <br />MINUTES: of the February 5th February t5th February 13th meetings were read and <br />approved as read. <br />ACTING MAYOR HANSEN called on Mr. Goodridge for a report on his findings thus far. <br />MR. GOODRIDGE reported that he was working on the Exass gB maps of paved Streets, <br />curbs, sidewalks etc. as proposed. <br />Further inspection of St. Mary's St., shows that it has a good foundation but that <br />the bad areas should be repaired by removing with hot burner or plainer to take off <br />high spots and resurface. <br />Estimate for complete job on St. Mary from Main to Division $12,000.00 From Division <br />to the new bridge approximately $7,000.00 Discussion followed. <br />MR. J. J. AMARAL asked the Council to have Mr. Goodridge establish a grade on Kottinger <br />A'venue, so he could proceed with his building program. <br />Mr. Amaral said that his offer of 10' to widen Kottinger Avenue still stands. <br />
