38 <br />MR. GOODRIDGE was given o. k. to order maps No. 4gA; LS and 7 X 10 ft. full City <br />map. <br />COUNCILMAN TRIMINGHAM asked Mr. Goodridge to make an estimate of the bad spots on <br />St. Mary Street. <br />ACTING MAYOR HANSEN called on Mike Lebedeff who requested the Council to pass <br />some definate Ordinance pertaining to the Taxi stands. Discussion followed. <br />CITY ATTORNEY GALE suggested that he be given time to look into the matter, then <br />meet with both Cab owners in the presence of Chief of Police Delucchi to work out <br />some definate plan. <br />PUBLIC HEALTH: Hery Davis, reported that on a couple occasions the water tested <br />much too high and that something would have to be done but on second check they <br />were normal. It was suggested that at that time they were, working on the main at <br />the new Hagstrom+ s Store and was probably to blame. <br />Mr. Davis also reported that there had been some Rodent complaints and that he had <br />turned them over to the Rodent control who will check the Town. <br />MR. JOHN EDGREN president of the Chamber of Commerce requested the annual contribu- <br />tion from the City of$300.00 be increased as all costs have raised. <br />Mr. Edgren also reported that the Chamber of Commerce is working hard for larger <br />attendenance that they get a better cross section Merchants and what they want. <br />Also requested that the Council call on the Chamber of Commerce at ary time that <br />they may be able to help and expressed their desire for close cooperation. <br />ACTING MAYOR HANSEN stated that before any action be taken that the Council wait <br />until Mayor Oxsen is back in the chair. <br />MR. EDGREN told the Council that the Town of Pleasanton was named in a County Chamber <br />of Commerce Industrial ad that would have National circulation and that the <br />changes were being made in the Xmas lighting set -up more lights were being added <br />etc. and also requested that some thought be given to having the Town employees <br />help erect the Xmas decorations as they do in Livermore. If the weather is not good <br />in the planned Sunday the decorations are late in going up or coming down. <br />CLAIMS NO' s 236 261 incl. amounting to $1,622.04 were presented and refered to <br />the Finance Committee: <br />236 George F.
