RESOLUTION NO. 2122 authorizing payment of salaries in the amount of $2,824.50. <br />for the month of November was adopted on motion of Councilman Trimingham, and 21 <br />seconded by Councilman- Hansen and approved by all Councilmen present. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2124 "Bond Interest" was adopted on motion of Councilman Trimin- <br />ham, seconded by Councilman Hansen and, approved by all Councilman present. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2125 "Bid for Tractor" adopted on motion of Councilman Hansen, <br />seconded by Councilman Trimingham and approved by all Councilmen present. <br />THERE BEING no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 11:25 P.M. to meet again in special session November 28, 1950 <br />at 7:30 P.M. <br />Councilman Trimingham arrived 8 :05 P.M. <br />Pleasanton, California <br />November 28, 1950 <br />of Pleasanton met b cp6oi;.1 session at 7:30 P.M <br />Oxsen in the chair. Roll call showed Councilmen <br />The Council of the Town <br />at the above date with Mayor <br />Hansen and Abrott present <br />Absent Councilmen Trimingham and Hewitson. du. TO ¢esg <br />MAYOR OXSEN stated that the purpose of this meeting was to discuss and take <br />action on the procurment of Kottinger Village and called on City Attorney Gale <br />to. read the proposed Resolutions which would act as formal applicaiton to the <br />Federal Housing Authority. <br />CITY ATTORNEY GALE stated that in accordance with an agreement between the Council <br />and the local Housing Commission the Council should pass a resolution approving <br />the request of the local Housing Commission for transfer of Kottinger Village to <br />local title. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2126 Specifically approved the request of the Housing Authority of <br />the Town of Pleasanton for transfer of project No. Cal. 4754 Kottinger Village <br />pursuant to title V1 of Public law 849, 76th. Congress as amended. Was adopted on <br />motion of Councilman Hansen, seconded by Councilman Abrott and approved by all <br />Councilmen present. <br />CITY ATTORNEY GALE: stated that the following is the City Council's 'Resolution <br />calling for the transfer of Kottinger Village to the Town of Pleasanton and if <br />approved by the Federal Housing Commission would superceed the local Housing <br />Authorities application by virtue of the agreement between the Council and <br />local Housing Commission. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2127 Request of the Town of Pleasanton for transfer of Kottinger <br />Village to the Town of Pleasanton, was adopted on motion of Councilman Abrott, <br />seconded by Councilman Hansen and approved by all Councilman present. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2128 Calling for a public hearing notice to be published in the <br />Pleasanton Times and setting the and date for said hearing at 7 :30 F.M. <br />Monday December 18th. to determine whether or not there no longeriexists such a <br />shortage in rental housing accomodations as to require rent control in the Town of <br />Pleasanton, was adopted on motion of Councilman Trimingham, seconded by Councilman <br />Abrott'and approved by all Councilmen present. <br />THE FINANCIAL REPORT of the Town of Pleasanton for the 1949 -50 fiscal year ending <br />June 30, 195G was approved as presented by City Clerk and ordered published <br />in the Pleasanton Times in December 1st. issue. <br />MAYOR.OXSEN reported that Mr. Jas. T. Greig, Division Supervisor for the Railway <br />Express Company had called on him and presented Company figures of the cost of, <br />operation for pick -up and delivery service in the Town of Pleasanton and that it <br />did not warrant the continuance of such service and that Railway Express was <br />with drawing this service on a nation wide basis and not just in Pleasanton. <br />The Council was unanimous in their discussion to withdraw itts protest against the <br />Y4ailway Express Company and ordered the Clerk to notify the Public Utilities Comm. <br />of their action and to mail a copy of that letter to Mr. Jas. J. Greig. <br />
