ON MOTION of Councilman Trimingham, seconded by Councilman'Abrott and approved by <br />all Councilmen present to make awe. nia contribition of $150.00 to the Chamber of <br />Commerce for Christmas street lighting. <br />Discussion of the proposed first Rtreet Bridge was limited because of insufficient <br />information from the County. Mayor Oxsen will contact County Engineer Boggs and ar- <br />range to have him meet with the Council in regards to this problem.° <br />It was regularly moved by Councilman Trimingham, seconded by Councilman Hansen and <br />approved by all Councilmen present to authorize payment in the amount of ;60.00 <br />when billed, to the Joint Cities and County Civil Defense Board said amount being <br />Pleasanton's share of the initial budget for that Board. <br />THERE BEING no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was ad- <br />journedat 10 :00 P to meet again in regular session December 4, 1950 at 7:30 <br />P.M. <br />The Council of the Town of Pleasanton met in regular session at 7 :30 P.M. <br />on the above date with Mayor Oxsen in the chair. Roll call showed: Councilmen <br />Hansen, Trimingham and Abrott present. <br />Absent Councilman Hewitson due to illness. <br />MINUTES of the meetings of November 6th 28th were read. Minutes of November <br />28th. were corrected to read "met in regular adjourned session.' Councilman <br />Trimingham also requested that the Clerk continue to follow Councilman Hewit- <br />son's name, "absent due to illness <br />The minutes were approved as corrected. <br />MAYOR OXSEN stated that Bx proceeding with the regular business, the Council- <br />men would open any and all sealed bids as called for by the Councilmen for this <br />meeting. To wit one Tractor with 4" Disc. Be pruchased by the Town of Pleasanton <br />for use in the Street Department. <br />BIDS RECEIVED: <br />1 Gurney Equipment Company <br />2 H. M.
