The Board of Town Trustees were called to order at 7:3o P. M. by.Trustee Pickard. <br />The roll call showed Trustees Pickard, Bairos and Bruce to be present. Trustees <br />Schween and Garatti were noted as absent. Trustee Pickard Was appointed President <br />pro tem. <br />There being no business to come before the board and adjournment was taken until <br />January 21, 1924 at 7;30 p. m. <br />Approved <br />President Pro Tem of th‘ <br />Board of Town Trustees. <br />in the evening. <br />Approve <br />President of the Board of Tobn Trustees <br />Pleasanton, California, January 14, 1924. <br />Town Clerk <br />Town Clerk. <br />Pleasanton, California, January 21, 1924._ <br />The Board of Town Trustees was called to. order at 7;30 p. rn. by President <br />Schween. The roll call showed the following trustees to be present: Pickard, <br />Garatti, Bairos, Bruce and Schween. <br />An application from The Reveler's to hold a dance in the I. D. E. St Hall on <br />St. Marys street on the night of January 26th was granted by unanimous consent. <br />The Town clerk reported that he had held telephonic communication with George <br />Posey, engineer in charge of the town street wotrk, and that Mr. Posey had.said <br />he was being held up in his work until an.understanding re &€ative the crossing at <br />the lower end of Main street had been obtained with the Southern Paicfic Company. <br />H. A. Robison, representative of the Pacific Gas Electric company appeared <br />before the Board and explained a proposition to place bracket alectroliers upon the <br />streets of Pleasanton. No action was taken in the matter. <br />The baord then adjourned until Monday, January 28th, 1924 at 7;30 o'cicok <br />Pleasanton, California, January 28, 1924. <br />The Board was called to order atv7;3o p. m. by President Schween. The roll call <br />showed the foll:wing Trustees to be present: Pickard, Garatti, Br &ce and Schweem. <br />Absent, Bairos. <br />The following resolution was then read: <br />Resolution No. 957. <br />Whereas, it appearin to.this board that the public health of the community will <br />be protected and rendered safe by the immunization of the children of this community <br />from diphtheria by the use of diphtheria toxin anti -toxin to be administered free of <br />charge to the children of this community'at the Pleasanton public school, and <br />Whereas, It appearing to this board that physicians have expressed their willingnes <br />t o give their services free of cost to the children or the community in the adminis- <br />tering od such toxin antd- toxin, and it further appearing that no funds from other <br />sources are available for the purchase of such toxin anti- toxin, <br />Now therefore Be It Resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Pleasanton <br />that the sum appropriated by this resolution be used exclusively for the purchase <br />of toxin anti -toxin and that no part of it be used in the payment of doctor or other <br />V <br />5b <br />
