shall pay a filing fee as provided in the resolution <br /> establishing fees and charges for various municipal <br /> services,as codified in the appendix of Title 3 of this <br /> code." <br /> <br />Section 4: The title of Section 6.24,040 and subsection 6.24,040 <br /> (A) are amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "6.24.040 Massage establishment and home therapy <br /> massage permit - Application. <br /> <br /> A. The application for a permit to operate a <br /> massage establishment or home therapy massage shall set <br /> forth the exact nature of massage to be administered, <br /> the proposed place of business and facilities therefor, <br /> and the name and address of each applicant." <br /> <br />Section 5: Section 6.24,060 (PMC) is amended in its entirety to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> "6.24.060 Massage technician permit - Required. <br /> <br /> No operator of a massage establishment or home <br /> therapy massage as defined in this section shall employ <br /> any massage technician on the premises unless and until <br /> such person has been granted a massage technician permit <br /> by the chief of police as provided in this chapter. The <br /> operator of such establishment must maintain a register <br /> of all persons so employed and their permit number, <br /> which register shall be available for inspection at all <br /> times during regular business hours." <br /> <br />Section 6: Section 6.24,080(I) PMC is amended in its entirety to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> " I. Applicant must have a diploma or certificate of <br /> graduation from a state-approved school wherein the <br /> method, profession and work of massage is taught. The <br /> term "state-approved school" shall mean and include any <br /> school or institution of learning which has for its <br /> purpose the teaching of the theory, method, profession <br /> or work of massage which has been certified by another <br /> state or the state of California, Department of <br /> Education, Bureau of School Approvals. The chief of <br /> police shall have a right to confirm the fact that the <br /> applicant has actually attended classes in a <br /> state-approved school." <br /> <br /> Section 7: The title of Section 6.24.140 and subsection <br /> 6.24.140(B) are amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "6.24.140 Massage establishment and home therapy massage <br /> permit - Issuance. <br /> <br /> <br />
