(c) Every discretionary approval for residential <br />development including zoning, subdivision and growth management <br />approval shall be conditioned upon compliance with this chapter. <br /> <br /> (d) Prior to issuance of each building permit for each <br />residential unit, the developer shall pay the fee established by <br />Section 17.28.050 or otherwise demonstrate compliance with this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />Section 17.28,050 Imposition of Fee <br /> <br /> (a) Every dwelling unit subject to this chapter may <br />either pay the applicable fees as set forth in Section 17.28,060 <br />or undertake an approved alternate method of compliance as set <br />forth in Section 17.28,070. <br /> <br /> (b) For purposes of determining the number of bedrooms, <br />each room readily adaptable to use as a bedroom shall be counted <br />as a bedroom. Designations on building plans such as a "den", <br />"sewing room" or the like shall not be controlling. <br /> <br /> (c) If the developer complies with this chapter by <br />paying fees, payment shall be made at the time the building <br />permit is issued. <br /> <br /> (d) In the case of mobile home spaces, payment shall be <br />made at the time the first permit is obtained from the City, <br />whether electrical, sewer, subdivision, encroachment or other <br />type of permit is first obtained. <br /> <br /> (e) At any given location it is possible that there <br />will be approved findings of overcrowding for the elementary <br />school district but not the high school district (or vice versa). <br />In that event, only the fee schedule for the type of district for <br />which there are approved findings of overcrowding shall apply. <br /> <br /> Section 17.28,060 Fee Schedule <br /> <br /> The fee for dwelling units in school districts in which <br /> there are approved findings of overcrowding shall be as follows: <br /> <br /> Elementary Maximum (If <br /> School High School both are <br /> Number of Bedrooms District Fee District Fee Applicable) <br /> <br /> Mobile homes(per space) $1,750 N/A $1,750 <br /> <br /> Two Bedroom or less $1,750 $ N/A $1,750 <br /> Three Bedroom $2,000 $ N/A $2,000 <br /> Four Bedroom or more $2,250 $ N/A $2,250 <br /> <br /> Section 17.28.070 Adjustment of Fees for Inflation <br /> <br /> (a) The fees as set forth herein shall automatically <br /> adjust on January 1 of each year by an amount equal to the <br /> percentage change in the Engineering News Record Construction <br /> <br /> - 5 - <br /> <br /> <br />
