CITY OF PLEASANTON SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT <br /> FOR STANLEY BLVD. RULE 20B <br /> 3.4 Preliminary Service Points of Connection "CONSULTANT" will visit <br /> each property to identify the optimal trench path within each private <br /> property. Some properties have sensitive existing features such as; a.) <br /> decorative landscape, b.) landscaping and irrigation, c.) trees, d.) side <br /> yard swimming pool, e.) decorative planter boxes and f.) tight side yards <br /> with fencing. The front yard joint trench service lateral will be directed <br /> towards the existing PG &E meter location on the side of the building. The <br /> design team will evaluate best path of travel around the building to <br /> connect the telephone and cable. Typically the phone and cable are <br /> located on the opposite side of the building from the PG &E meter. <br /> Generally the two options for phone and cable connects are; 1.) around <br /> the roof eaves or, 2.) through the crawl space. The plans by <br /> "CONSULTANT" will includes notes describing the path of travel for the <br /> phone and cable connections through or around the house or building. <br /> 3.5 Public Meeting "CONSULTANT" will attend and record the meeting <br /> action items. The public meeting will include the following agenda items/ <br /> slide show: <br /> 1.) Rule 20B explanation <br /> 2.) District Formation requirements <br /> 3.) District boundary map <br /> 4.) Preliminary joint trench alignment <br /> 5.) Construction sequencing <br /> 6.) Typical building connections and termination cans <br /> 7.) Questions and concerns from public. <br /> 3.6 Meet with Utility Companies "CONSULTANT" will meet with PG &E, <br /> AT &T and Comcast to discuss the proposed trench layout and to obtain <br /> feedback from the utilities. <br /> 3.7 Refine Preliminary Based on information obtained from the public <br /> meeting and meeting with utility companies "CONSULTANT" will update <br /> preliminary plans. <br /> 3.8 Field Verification "CONSULTANT" will revisit the project site with <br /> updated utility plan to review and verify joint trench location and service <br /> point connections. <br /> 3.9 Underground Utility District Mapping Boundary Description Based <br /> on record information, provided by City, "CONSULTANT" will prepare the <br /> underground Utility District Map. In addition, "CONSULTANT" will include <br /> a legal description with calls to APN property lines (no metes and bound <br /> description) <br /> BELLECCI ASSOCIATES, INC JULY 10, 2009 <br />
