hazard areas or extreme hazard areas based on <br />steepness of slope and/or fuel loadings from <br />combustible plant materials as set forth in the Safety <br />Element of the General Plan. <br /> <br />In every story or basement of all buildings when the <br />floor area exceeds 1,500 square feet (139.4 m2) and <br />there is not provided at least 20 square feet (1.86 <br />m2) of opening entirely above the adjoining ground <br />level in each 50 lineal feet (15 240 mm) or fraction <br />thereof o£ exterior wall in the story or basement on <br />at least one side of the building. Openings shall <br />have a minimum dimension of not less than 30 <br />inches (762 mm).
