Ms. Donna Decker noted that with Commissioner Fox absent, the Commission could <br />either vote to approve the minutes with any additional revisions Commissioner Fox <br />might suggest, or leave the minutes open for Commissioner Fox to review at the <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />Chair Blank questioned whether there were any time- sensitive legal implications <br />that would prevent the Commission m from leaving the minutes open until the next <br />meeting. M, and Ms. Decker. <br /> <br />Julie Harryman confirmed that there were none. <br /> <br />Chair Blank indicated that the concluded to leave the minutes would be left open <br />open until the next meeting. <br /> <br />3. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY <br />ON THE AGENDA. <br /> <br />No members of the audience wished to address any items not already on the <br />agenda. <br /> <br />4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Ms. Donna Decker advisedreported that Item 6.a., PCUP-229, John Pfund, Tri- <br />Valley Marital Arts Academy has been continued by Commissioner Fox and . She <br />indicated that the Commissioner’s Handbook requires that the item be continued to <br />the next Planning Commission hearing date, which is of August 27, 2008, the date <br />set for the Joint City Council/Planning Commission workshop on Hacienda Housing. <br />She further advised that the next Planning Commission meeting would be <br />September 10, 2008 but that there is a scheduling conflict of the scheduling conflict <br />because that meeting has been set will be a Joint City Council / Planning <br />Commission hearing for for a single item: Staples Ranch. She then informed them <br />that a possible the next available hearing date for this continued item would be at on <br />th <br />September. 10, but there is the possibility of hearing the item at a Special Meeting <br />on September 4, 2008. <br /> <br />Ms. Donna Decker then reported Item 6.c., PAP-123, Greg and Lisa Johnston, <br />Appellants (PDR-715, Steven and Nicole Jeffrey, Applicants) hasd been continued <br />to the next available meeting date. <br /> <br />Commissioner Pearce inquiredquestioned, given the time- sensitive nature of Item <br />6.a., if it would be possible for the Commission to arrive at 6:00 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. on <br />th <br />August 27 and hear the item early to the Joint City Council / Planning <br />arrive <br />Commission hearing on August 27, 2008 and hear the Item then, at 6:00 or 6:30 <br />p.m. before the JJoint joint City Council-Planning Commission Workshophearing <br />started. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES, August 13, 2008 Page 2 of 26 <br /> <br /> <br />
