WINDOW SIGNS <br /> <br /> Coverage shall not exceed twenty-five percent (25%) <br /> <br />for any individual window or door area visible from the <br />exterior of the building. Window signs are prohibited <br />above the second level. <br /> <br />5. AWNING OR CANOPY SIGNS <br /> <br /> On ground floor level, thirty percent (30%) maximum <br />coverage allowed of the total exterior surface area of <br />each awning or canopy, not to exceed a total of one (1) <br />square foot per linear front foot of business <br />establishment. On the second floor level and above, <br />twenty percent (20%) maximum coverage allowed of the <br />total exterior surface area of each awning or canopy, <br />not to exceed a total of one (1) square foot per linear <br />front foot of business establishment. <br /> <br />6. TEMPORARY SIGNS <br /> <br /> Temporary signs are prohibited except at businesses <br />where the principal use is the retail sale of food or <br />foodstuffs. Temporary signs when allowed under this <br />Article shall be permitted only in strict accordance <br />with a conceptual scheme for temporary signs approved by <br /> <br /> - 14 - <br /> <br /> <br />
