Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan Initial Study
Bicycles are currently allowed on all roadways within Pleasanton except on Interstate 580 (I -580) and I-
680. Adding bicycle signs and restriping some roadways would not change that these vehicles are
currently allowed and will continue to be allowed on all roadways per the State Vehicle Code. The
proposed Master Plan would not introduce incompatible vehicles (such as farm equipment) on
Pleasanton roadways.
Lest Than
Significant
Potentially Impact Iffith Less Than
Significant Mitigation Significant No
Issues Impact Incorporated Impact Impact
16. The proposed Master Plan itself would use no services or utilities.
Subsequent construction due to its implementation would require minor amounts of water. Minor
waste could occur due to the construction of future lanes, trails, and paths, but not at levels not already
planned for and accounted for in the city. Future users of the lanes, trails, and paths would be expected
to generate minor amounts of trash and garbage, although this would not add to the solid waste disposal
in the city, rather it would change the location of such waste.
Revised 9/4/09 30 9/4/2009
