d. the nature of any event, such as a public display <br /> or exhibition, accompanying the proposed discharge <br /> of firearms; <br /> <br /> e. prior to the issuance of any permit the Chief of <br /> Police shall confer with such other City staff <br /> members as he may feel have an interest in the <br /> issuance of any firearm discharge permit and shall <br /> notify the upon the granting of any such permit. <br /> <br /> The Chief of Police may attach restrictions, conditions <br /> and requirements on any firearm discharge permit derived <br /> through the application of these guidelines. <br /> <br />Section 18. Definitions of "Bus" and Holidays for Traffic <br /> Purposes. PMC Section 5-1.01 a., and f. are amended in their <br /> entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 5-1.01: Definitions. <br /> <br /> a. Bus. Any motor vehicle, other than a motor <br /> truck or truck tractor, designed for carrying more than <br /> ten (10) persons including the driver, and used or <br /> maintained for the transportation of passengers except <br /> that a van pool vehicle, as defined in Section 668 of <br /> the Vehicle Code, and any motor vehicle, other than a <br /> motor truck or truck tractor, designed for carrying not <br /> more than fifteen (15) persons, including the driver, <br /> when the driver is transporting only members of the <br /> household of the owner thereof shall not be considered a <br /> bus for the purposes of this section. <br /> <br /> f. Within the meaning of this Title, holidays are <br /> those enumerated below: <br /> <br /> (1) January 1st. <br /> (2) The third Monday in February, known as <br /> "Washington Day." <br /> (3) The last Monday in May known as "Memorial <br /> Day." <br /> (4) July 4th. <br /> (5) The first Monday in September known as <br /> "Labor Day." <br /> (6) The eleventh day of the eleventh month, <br /> known as "Veterans Day." <br /> (7) Thanksgiving Day <br /> (8) The Friday following Thanksgiving Day. <br /> (9) Christmas Eve Day. <br /> (10) December 25th. <br /> <br /> <br />
