D. Board of Directors Review. <br /> <br /> 1. Upon receipt of an appeal, and enough <br /> additional information for the board to adequately <br /> review the commission's decision, the chairman of <br /> the board of directors shall call a special meeting <br /> of the board of directors. Normally, the special <br /> meeting shall be scheduled to coincide with a <br /> regularly scheduled city council meeting. <br /> <br /> 2. The executive director shall assure that <br /> adequate notice is given to the press in accordance <br /> with Section 2.36,070(C). <br /> <br /> 3. The executive director shall provide the <br /> appellant with notice of the time and place <br /> designated for the special meeting and a copy of <br /> public agenda materials relating to the appeal. <br /> <br /> E. Board Action. <br /> <br /> 1. The board may affirm, reverse or modify <br /> the decision of the commission. <br /> <br /> 2. The decision of the board shall take <br /> effect immediately." <br /> <br />Section 6: Subsection 4 of Section 2.36,040 PMC (Maintenance of <br /> Membership) is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> " 4. Removal from the office in accordance with <br /> Health and Safety Code Section 34282 by the mayor." <br /> <br />Section 7: Section 2.36.040 PMC (Maintenance of Membership) is <br /> amended by changing the number sequence 1,2,3, and 4 to <br /> the letter sequence A, B, C, and D. <br /> <br />Section 8: Subsection D (Treasurer) of Section 2.36.060 PMC <br /> (Executive Secretary) is amended to replace the word <br /> "board" with the word "commission" as the last word in <br /> the third sentence. <br /> <br />section 9: Subsection E (Additional Personnel) of Section <br /> 2.36,060 PMC (Executive Secretary) is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> "E. Additional Personnel. The executive director <br /> may employ such personnel as he or she deems necessary <br /> to exercise the powers, duties and functions as <br /> prescribed by the Housing Authorities Law of California <br /> and all other laws of the state applicable thereto. The <br /> process for selection and the compensation ranges of <br /> such personnel shall be determined by the commission <br /> subject to the laws of the state." <br /> <br /> <br />
