Section 10: Section 2.36,070 PMC (Board Meetings) is amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> "2.36.070 Meetings. <br /> <br /> A. Board Meetings. The Board shall hold an <br /> annual meeting in June of each year to consider the <br /> budget. Special meetings may be called as the need <br /> arises. <br /> <br /> B. Commission Meetings. Regular meetings of the <br /> commission shall be held monthly with time and place and <br /> date set by resolution of the commission. <br /> <br /> C. Special Meetings. <br /> <br /> 1. A special meeting shall be called as <br /> required by law. The only business transacted <br /> shall be limited to items and subjects set forth in <br /> the notice of special meeting. <br /> <br /> 2. Written notice shall be given forty-eight <br /> hours in advance of the special meetings to the <br /> following: each commissioner, local newspapers of <br /> general circulation, and anyone filing written <br /> request for notice. Notice of meetings shall <br /> comply in all respects with Section 54950 et seq., <br /> of the Government Code known commonly as the Ralph <br /> M. Brown Act. <br /> <br /> D. Rules. All meetings shall be conducted in <br /> accordance with Robert's Rules of Order Revised. <br /> <br /> E. Conduct of Business. All meetings shall be <br /> public and shall follow an agenda. <br /> <br /> F. Resolutions. All resolutions shall be in <br /> writing. <br /> <br /> G. Quorum. With respect to commission meetings, <br /> four commissioners present shall constitute a quorum for <br /> the transaction of business at any meeting of the <br /> commission. Action may be taken by a majority of the <br /> quorum. <br /> <br /> H. Bylaws. The commission may adopt and amend <br /> bylaws only with the approval of a majority of the <br /> members of the commission at a regular or a special <br /> meeting, but no such amendment shall be adopted unless <br /> forty-eight hours' written notice is given using the <br /> notification rules of subsection C of this section. <br /> <br /> Section 11: This ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley <br /> Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in <br /> the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> <br />
