Section 10: Section 2.36,070 PMC (Board Meetings) is amended to read as follows: "2.36.070 Meetings. A. Board Meetings. The Board shall hold an annual meeting in June of each year to consider the budget. Special meetings may be called as the need arises. B. Commission Meetings. Regular meetings of the commission shall be held monthly with time and place and date set by resolution of the commission. C. Special Meetings. 1. A special meeting shall be called as required by law. The only business transacted shall be limited to items and subjects set forth in the notice of special meeting. 2. Written notice shall be given forty-eight hours in advance of the special meetings to the following: each commissioner, local newspapers of general circulation, and anyone filing written request for notice. Notice of meetings shall comply in all respects with Section 54950 et seq., of the Government Code known commonly as the Ralph M. Brown Act. D. Rules. All meetings shall be conducted in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order Revised. E. Conduct of Business. All meetings shall be public and shall follow an agenda. F. Resolutions. All resolutions shall be in writing. G. Quorum. With respect to commission meetings, four commissioners present shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business at any meeting of the commission. Action may be taken by a majority of the quorum. H. Bylaws. The commission may adopt and amend bylaws only with the approval of a majority of the members of the commission at a regular or a special meeting, but no such amendment shall be adopted unless forty-eight hours' written notice is given using the notification rules of subsection C of this section. Section 11: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton.
