30. Public Agency Access <br /> <br /> a. The applicant shall provide locked gates with knox boxes at each end of the emergency <br /> access road to prevent access of private vehicles into project open space areas. All <br /> emergency vehicle access-roads and maintenance roads to public utilities shall be <br /> paved. The minimum width of these roads shall be 20 feet for EVA's and 12 feet for <br /> maintenance roads. A typical section for each type of road shall be shown on any <br /> tentative map application. <br /> <br />31. Police <br /> <br /> a. The homeowners association shall maintain a liaison with the Police Department. The <br /> CC&R's for the project shall include a provision for such liaison. <br /> <br /> b. The applicant shall fund their pro-rata share towards the acquisition of a new off-road <br /> 4-wheel drive vehicle(s) and a new on- off-road motorcycle (s) for the Police <br /> Department.' This contribution shall be a pro-rated share of properties developing <br /> along Foothill Road. The costs and vehicle requirements shall be determined at the <br /> tentative map stage. <br /> <br />32. Fire <br /> <br /> a. The applicant shall fund their pro-rata share towards the acquisition of a new off-road <br /> 4-wheel drive vehicle(s) grass rig for the Fire Department. This contribution shall be a <br /> pro-rated share of properties developing along Foothill Road. The costs and vehicle <br /> requirements shall be determined at the tentative map stage. <br /> <br /> b. The applicant shall prepare a wildland fire protection plan for the project, subject to the <br /> approval of the Fire Chief and the Design Review Board prior to recordation of the <br /> f'mal map. Visual_ and biological concerns and effects shall be incorporated into the <br /> plan, and the plan shall be coordinated with the re-vegetation landscape plan. The plan <br /> shall also include provisions for on-going maintenance of all fire protection measures. <br /> <br /> c. On-going maintenance by the homeowners association shall be provided for in the <br /> CC&R's for the project. Class B roofing material and automatic house fire sprinklers <br /> should be considered as part of the plan and may be required to reduce the need for <br /> fifebreaks along rear lot lines. In those areas where a landscaped "wet-band" is <br /> required, the use of native fire retardant plant materials shall be used. The design of <br /> such a system shall enable the removal of the irrigation system within 3 to 5 years. <br /> <br /> <br />
