d. If the aforementioned reports identify the presence of rare or endangered animals, a <br /> supplemental trapping study shall be conducted at the end of 5 years under the direction <br /> of the Pleasanton Planning Department and the Department of Fish and Game. An <br /> agreement shall be entered into between the City and the developer which provides for <br /> the required funding for the supplemental trapping study and supplemental habitat <br /> restoration. <br /> <br />27. Traffic <br /> <br /> a. Foothill Road along the frontage of the property shall be improved to the satisfaction of <br /> the City engineer. These improvements shall follow the 1972 Foothill Road Precise- <br /> Alignment or more recently adopted alignment. These improvements shall include but <br /> not be limited to their pro-rata share of constructing two travel lanes southbound, a <br /> separated pedestrian/bike path on the west side of the street, median island <br /> improvements required to allow the left turns into and out of the site, and landscaping <br /> of any median island. <br /> <br /> b. All interior streets and courts shall be essentially as shown on the typical street <br /> sections, except that there shall be an 8 foot public service easement behind the street <br /> right-of-way. An area 5 foot behind the sidewalk or curb, whichever is applicable, <br /> shall be graded at a maximum slope of 2 percent towards the street. <br /> <br /> e. At street intersections, the maximum street grade shall be 7 percent. The applicant's <br /> engineer shall review all street intersections for adequate sight distance as defined in <br /> the Caltnns Highway Design Manual and redesign those intersections not in <br /> conformance with those standards. <br /> <br /> d. The applicant shall pay a pro-rata share, as determined by the City Engineer, of the <br /> cost of traffic improvements on Foothill Road at Stoneridge Drive, Laurel Creek Way, <br /> and Dublin Canyon Road. <br /> <br /> e. Prior to tentative map approval, the developer shall conduct a needs assessment in <br /> conjunction with Livenmore Amador Valley Transit Authority for a bus turn out along <br /> the Foothill Road frontage. The specific results and recommendations shall be <br /> presented to the Planning Commission in conjunction with any tentative map. <br /> <br />28. Noise <br /> <br /> a. All site improvement activities shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br /> Monday through Saturday. All construction equipment shall meet DMV noise <br /> standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. When necessary, shielding <br /> material shall be used for unusually high noise generation sources. <br /> <br /> <br />
