Public Services and Facilities

1. Increased daily water demand on the Citv's water resources

IMPACT: The Council finds that increased demand on the City 's water sources may have
a significant impact.

DEGRee-: Potentially Significant.

FINDING: The Council finds that implementation of mitigation measures which can reduce
water consumption through installation of water-consexving plumbing fixtures, the use of
drought-tolerant and non-water-loving plant species in the landscape designs (MM 7a, 7b and
7c) are feasible and have been incorporated into the project design or into the project by
reference through conditions of approval, and will be effective in reducing the impacts of this
project to a less than significant level.

2. Insufficient water nressure for 3 lots

IMPACT: The Council finds that provision of water service in an adequate amount or
pressure level to three lots located above 390 feet in elevation could be a potentially significant
impact.

DEGR~g: Potentially SignificaaL

FINDING: The Council finds that implementation of a mitigation measure requiting the use
of hydro-pneurnatic "booster" water pumps with water storage tanks for each of these lots (MM
7d) is feasible and has been incorporated into the project design or into the project by reference
through conditions of approval, and will be effective in reducing the impacts of this project to
a less than significant level.

3. Sewer ~erdce on Foothill Road

IMPACT: The Council finds that the laci of sewer sentice to the site and elevations along
Foothill Road which do not permit ordinary gravity flow sewers may have a potentially
significant impact.

DEGRF-E: Polamtially Significant.

FINDING: The Council finds that implementation of mitigation measures which require
extension of the City's sewer service to this sit~, and the installation of sewer lift stations along
Foothill Road (MM 7f and 7g) am feasible and have been incoxporated into the project design
or into the project by reference through conditions of approval, and will be effective in reducing
the impacts of this project to a less than significant level.

Page.
