7-3 Fire Protection Measures to Reduce Fire Risks (Mitigation Measures 7-3a., b., and c., Draft EIR, page 7-3). Said mitigation measures were considered and adopted with any pertinent changes in Condition 7-2(A - C), Exhibit "B" of the City Council staff report dated June 16, 1992. Finding: Mitigation Measure 7-3 Feasible and Required The City finds that it is feasible to mitigate this impact to a less-than-significant level by requiring the applicant and successors in interest to incorporate the specific provisions of Mitigation 7-3, as discussed above, into the project design. The applicant and successors in interest shall incorporate such fire protection impact reduction provisions into project design as a "Condition of Approval" to.the project. Parks Impact: Lack of reasonable access to nearby public recreation opportunities The City finds that a fully equipped neighborhood park will not be available to project residents. This is a significant impact regarding lack of reasonable access to nearby public recreation opportunities (Draft EIR, page 7-4). Proposed Mitigation Measures of the EIR The EIR identified the following mitigation measure which would substantially avoid this parks impact. 7-4 Contribute to additional neighborhood park facilities (Draft EIR, page 7-4). Said mitigation measure was considered and adopted with any pertinent changes in Condition 7-3, 'Exhibit "B" of the City Council staff report dated June 16, 1992. Finding: Mitigation Measure 7-4 Feaslble and Required The City finds that it is feasible to mitigate this impact to a less-than-significant level by requiring the applicant and successors in interest to contribute the standard City park fee and 'provide a public trail and seating area along the creek areas. The applicant and successors in interest shall implement either of the parks impact reduction provisions as a "Condition of Approval" to the project. 14
