MITIGATION MONITORING PROGRAM:

KOTTINGER HR,L8 EIR
(lrtJD-91-13)

The State of California now requires public agencies to adopt a mitigation monitoring program
for changes to the project or conditions of approval which have been identified and adopted as
methods to reduc~ environmental impacts. The City of Pleasanton thus is required to establish
a mitigation monitoring program if the proposed mitigation measures in this EIR are accepted
and the proposed project is to be approved by the City.

This program identifies the following:

· WhQ is responsible for monitoring the mitigation?

· What is the mitigation measure being monitored and how?

· When should mitigation monitoring be undertaken? What schedule is required?

· C:Qmpletion: when should the mitigation measure be in place and monitoring be
completed?

· Verification: what agency is required to ensure that the mitigation measure was
implemented?

The relationship of mitigation measures to impacts is indicated in Table 2-1 of the Final EIR.
Optional measures do not require mitigation monitoring.

Def'mitions

City. - City of Pleasanton, California

Dev¢lo_ner - Chang Su-O Lin and any successors in interest

Planning D_e!~'tment - City of Pleasanton Planning Department

PUbliC WOrks _De~u'tment - City of Pleasanton Public Works Department

Permit Processin~ and Mitigation Monitoring

The mitigation monitoring program identifies the most appropriate and effective times to carry
out mitigation measures.
