B. Setting target allocations. <br /> <br /> Following receipt of the Growth Management Report, the <br /> City Council may establish the number of units it desires to be <br /> constructed in future calendar years. If it so chooses, Council <br /> may establish target allocations within certain categories (e.g., <br /> single-family or multiple-famiiy housing types, moderate-income <br /> or low-income housing, etc.) in order to meet General Plan <br /> policies and/or to direct the development community toward <br /> proposing housing types which will be well-received by the City <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> C. Requests for reallocations. <br /> <br /> Prior to granting growth management approval to any new <br />project, the City Council shall review requested changes to the <br />development schedules of projects previously approved. <br /> <br /> 1. Modified Growth Management Program projects. <br /> <br /> By June 30 and December 31, respectively, <br />developers of projects participating in the Modified Growth <br />Management Program shall estimate by calendar year, based on <br />their good faith, best business judgment, the number of building <br />permits they project will be issued for their respective <br />projects. These estimates shall be delivered to the City <br />Council. Reallocations of units which have received Growth <br />Management Program approval under the previous ordinance(s) for <br />calendar years 1993 and earlier shall not be considered "new <br />approvals" for purposes of finding conformity with General Plan <br />limits on the maximum number of units which may be approved <br />yearly. Allocations of units previously approved in calendar <br />years 1994 and later are "new approvals" for purposes of General <br />Plan growth limits and, if reallocated , shall count toward the <br />es~aDlished maximum number cf units per year. <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
