17.36.030 GroUch managemen~ approval required; exceptions. <br /> <br /> A. The City shall not accept for filing any final <br />subdivision map which creates residential lots nor issue any <br />building permit for any new residential unit, including a mobile <br />home, unless the City has granted growth management approval <br />pursuant to this ordinance for the lots in the map and/or unit <br />and such approval is in effect at the time the map is filed or <br />permit is issued. <br /> <br /> B. Growth management approvals granted under procedures <br />which pre-date the adoption of this ordinance shall remain in <br />effect under the terms and conditions of the former ordinance(s) <br />and/or growth management agreements. During the time these pre- <br />existing approvals remain valid, they shall be ,'growth management <br />approvals" as used in subsection 17.36,030(A) and shall be <br />eligible for approval of final maps and issuance of building <br />permits in accordance with the pre-existing terms and conditions. <br /> <br /> C. Subsection 17.36.030(A) shall not apply to the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> 1. Construction of City-approved second units as <br /> defined by State law. <br /> <br /> 2. Construction of projects containing five (5) or <br /> fewer dwelling units. Building permits and/or subdivision maps <br /> containing five (5) or fewer units/lots shall be allowed only one <br /> time in any twelve (12) month period within the boundary of any <br /> lot in existence on July 1, 1987. <br /> <br /> 3. Condominium conversion subdivisions which do not <br /> increase the number of existing units. <br /> <br /> <br />
