Chairperson Kumaran noted that he voted no due to the number of units being proposed in the project <br />and continued mining activities at RMC Lonestar. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan noted that he voted no due to the chemicals associated with agriculture and <br />continued mining operations at RMC Lonestar. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Cooper, seconded by Commissioner Maas, to adopt the <br />resolution contained in Attachment 6 recommending approval of the updated Environmental <br />Impact Mitigation Monitoring Program. <br /> <br />ROLLCALLVOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper and Maas <br />Chairperson Kumaran and Commissioner Sullivan <br />None <br />Commissioners Kameny and Roberts <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan noted that he voted no due to the chemicals associated with agriculture and <br />continued mining operations at RMC Lonestar. <br /> <br />A motion was made Commissioner Cooper, seconded by Commissioner Maas, to adopt the <br />resolution contained in Attachment 7 recommending approval of the Draft Specific Plan, to be <br />amended to include: <br /> <br />1. City approval of the Integrated Pest Management Program. (Unanimous.) <br /> <br />Requiring that farming in the Specific Plan area be in accordance with Organic Farming Act of <br />1990. (Maas voted no) <br /> <br />The maximum number of daycare center children to be determined at the time of conditional use <br />permit determination. (Sullivan voted no) <br /> <br />Modification to the maximum elevation of the Vineyard estate home on Lot 28 from 510 feet to <br />515 feet. (Unanimous.) <br /> <br />Specification of the Medium Density Residential acreage for each of the four applicable lots. <br />(Unanimous.) <br /> <br />6. Requiring visual analysis for all new housing development. (Unanimous.) <br /> <br />Restricting construction activities to Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br />(Kumaran and Sullivan voted no; therefore this motion for change did not carry) <br /> <br />Deletion of trail on Lot 26 <br />(Kumaran, Sullivan and Cooper voted no; therefore this motion for change did not carry.) <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Page 10 April 28, 1999 <br /> <br /> <br />
