Commissioner Kameny suggested that the applicant be required to contribute a cash contribution for <br />public art at a different location in the City ifa suitable location on the project cannot be found. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Cooper as to whether a cash contribution for art is a viable <br />option, Mr. Iserson noted that the preference would be for the applicant to work with the Civic Arts <br />Commission to identify a smaller piece of art that can be erected on property; however, he noted that a <br />cash contribution to public art could be requested as an alternative. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper concurred with Commissioner Sullivan's statements relating to traffic impacts; <br />however, he noted that not all of the traffic issues radiate from Hacienda Business Park. He further <br />noted that this kind of project will bring revenue to the City, but will have an impact on traffic. He <br />noted he would vote in support of approving application. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kameny suggested that a condition of approval be included that the applicant work with <br />the Civic Arts Commission to identify a suitable location for public art on project site or an acceptable <br />alternative.
