Commissioner Sullivan noted that the building is aesthetically pleasing and stated that his only concern was the project's proximity to the creek and the possibility for flooding and erosion; however, due to the applicant and staff being comfortable with the situation, he would be in support of approving the project. Commissioner Kameny stated it is a well-designed project, especially as it relates to the restrictions imposed by the shape of the lot. He noted that the project is aesthetically pleasing to the neighborhood. He conunended the applicant for incurring the expense of the articulation on the westerly side due to it only being visible from the parking lot. Commissioner Cooper commented on the shape of the lot and the applicant's ability to erect a building on the lot. He noted that the landscaping will add to the design. Further, that the building is a good use for the area and will be an asset to Old Santa Rita Road. A motion was made by Commissioner Sullivan, seconded by Commissioner Kameny, finding that the project would not have a significant effect on thc environment; that a resolution be adopted approving the attached draft Negative Declaration; and, finding that the project has a de minimis impact on the site's wildlife. A motion was made by Commissioner Sullivan, seconded by Commissioner Kameny, to make the PUD findings as listed in the staff report; and, recommend approval of the PUD rezoning and development plan subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B."
