REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Upon recommendation by Mr. Rasmussen, Item 6.d., PUD-98-18, Robert S. Enea was continued to the <br />April 14, 1999 Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />5. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />Chairperson Kumaran commented on the proposed length of time it would take to hear Item 6.a. <br />Further, he noted that the Commission would not start hearing any new agenda items after 11:00 p.m. <br />and gave the applicant from Lynnewood United Methodist Church the opportunity to delay the hearing <br />of this application until the April 14, 1999 Planning Commission meeting and be the first item on the <br />agenda. The applicant noted they would like to be heard at this meeting, if possible. <br /> <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />SP-97-03/RZ-98-02, City of Pleasanton <br />Specific Plan to permit 189 new homes, possible limited commercial uses such as a bed-and <br />breakfast inn and winery, 20-acre community park, 12-acre elementary school, vineyards, open <br />space, and a realignment of Vineyard Avenue to a location near the Arroyo del Valle. <br />Rezoning to the following Planned Unit Development (PUD) designations: Semi-Rural <br />Residential, Hillside Residential, Low Density Residential, Medium Density Residential, Open <br />Space, Vineyard, Community Park, and Elementary School. <br /> <br />Commissioners Kameny and Roberts noted they would be abstaining from this item due to owning <br />property within or adjacent to the Specific Plan Area. <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas suggested receiving public testimony and discussion at this meeting but postponing <br />a final decision by the Commission to allow additional time to review the documents and to have four <br />Commissioners present. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kumaran noted he would not be in favor of delaying action on the Specific Plan. He <br />stated that he would be in favor of making a recommendation to the City Council at tonight's meeting <br />and proceeding with the Specific Plan as expeditiously as possible. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan requested that if changes are made to the Specific Plan as a result of tonight's <br />hearing, any future hearing be re-opened for public testimony. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Page 3 March 23, 1999 <br /> <br /> <br />
