noted he will be providing a written response to what a "minor adjustment relating to the Urban Growth <br />Boundary" is, as requested by applicant. Mr. Chapman expressed his desire to be provided with a tape <br />of tonight's Conmaission proceedings and was informed by staff that a tape should be requested through <br />the City Clerk's office. Mr. Iserson further noted that the minor adjustment is not needed in this <br />application. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper noted he would like to see the project begin and he would be in support of the <br />application. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Maas, seconded by Commissioner Roberts, to adopt a <br />resolution finding that the City's acquisition of 25.98 acres of property in south Pleasanton is <br />consistent with the General Plan. <br /> <br />ROLL CALLVOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Cooper, Maas, Sullivan, Roberts and Chairperson Kumaran <br />None <br />Commissioner Kameny <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-99-23 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br /> <br />Recess taken from 9:10 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Chairperson Kumaran noted the growth management information was supplied by staff at the request of <br />Commissioner Roberts. Mr. Iserson provided an overview of the report. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan initiated discussion relating to the denial of the Braddock and Logan <br />Development and discussion that ensued between the staff and applicant that might have changed the <br />recommendations to the City Council. Ms. Acosta provided an overview of the appeals process. <br />Commissioner Sullivan was concerned about maintaining the integrity of the process. <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas inquired as to the Downtown Specific Plan process. Mr. Iserson noted that the <br />Downtown Specific Plan process will be started the week of March 13, 1999 to solicit member for the <br />Specific Plan Committee. <br /> <br />Commissioner Cooper initiated discussion relating to the Eastside Specific Plan process. Mr. Iserson <br />noted that the first meeting is in April 1999. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan initiated discussion relating to the Tom Gill's comments regarding the General <br />Plan being out-of-date due to current conditions that are different from those analyzed in the General <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Page 8 March 10, 1999 <br /> <br /> <br />
