A motion was made by Commissioner Roberts, seconded by Commissioner Cooper, concurring <br />with staff's recommendations for the alternatives, and recommending approval of Case <br />PUD-98-16, subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B" and adding conditions (1) restricting <br />lots 27-30 and 33A to single-story homes, (2) requiring all accessory structures to meet the <br />setbacks for the individual lots, and (3) that the Planning Commission shall perform the design <br />review on the homes. <br /> <br />ROLLCALLVOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Cooper, Maas, Roberts and Chairperson Kumaran <br />Commissioner Sullivan <br />Commissioner Kameny <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-99-22 was entered and adopted as motioned <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan noted that he voted "no" based on having insufficient information to make the <br />findings in regard to the geotechnical survey on earthquake faults, and the butterfly habitat, and financial <br />analysis for the number of homes. <br /> <br />PUD-81-30-79D, Prudential Insurance Company of America <br />Application for Planned Unit Development design review approval to allow five new office <br />buildings as follows: one approximately 70-foot high, 97,000-square foot, four-story office <br />building; two approximately 70-foot high, 120,000-square foot, four-story office buildings; <br />and two approximately 43-foot high, 30,000-square foot, two-story office buildings located <br />at 5860 and 5890 Owens Drive and 4701 Chabot Drive. Zoning for the property is PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-l/C-O (Industrial/Commercial-Office) District. <br /> <br />Continued to April 14, 1999. <br /> <br />Determination that the City of Pleasanton's acquisition of approximately 25.98 acres (Happy <br />Valley Parcel 110) in south Pleasanton for a Municipal Golf Course and Open Space is in <br />conformance with the City's General Plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson referenced a staff report dated March 10, 1999 and highlighted the analysis as contained in <br />the report. In conclusion, he noted that staff's recommendation is that the Planning Commission adopt a <br />resolution finding that the City's acquisition of 25.98 acres of property in south Pleasanton is consistent <br />with the General Plan. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued relating to the Urban Growth Boundary. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Mr. Chapman readdressed the Commission and noted that the memorandum and paragraph read into the <br />record for Item No. 6.a. applies to this item also.
