In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Roberts as to whether the barn could be used as the required cover parking space, Mr. Pavan advised that he feels it could be, but it was not part of the application. Commissioner Roberts advised that she is concerned about the applicant having to extend the leach lines and then abandoning them once water and sewer hook up is available. In reslxmse to a question from Chairperson Sullivan, Mr. Pavan clarified that the existing residence is single-story with a very high roof line, and that the proposed addition will not be as tall. PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED COMIvIENTS FROM THE APPLICANT JeffNe~or, 837 Clara Lane, advised that to use the barn as a garage would require that it be reO~ofit~d with sprinklers. Mr. Nespor noted that the existing septic tank is of sufficient size for the proposed addition, but it is unknown if the leach field is adequate. He noted that in three months wh~ the field is tested they should have a better idea of the timeframe for the Clara I~ne project. Colleen Nespor provided additional information regarding the septic system and leach fioki system. She noted that they do not want to delay the addition until the Clara Lane project is cons~ucted, and that they are prepared to extend the leach lines, if needed, in the inSerim.
