Commissioner Roberts stated that the oaks definitely need to <br />b~ replaced, but some of the other trees are not native and are not in very good condition. <br />Commissioner Maas reiterated her desire to see more of a variety of elevations. <br /> <br />Chairp~son Sullivan stated ~mt he has two big issues related to lots 33 through 36. The first is <br />visibility from the park and the Arroyo area. He stated that he feels this will be a visual intrusion <br />on the pm'k and if the park district has written a letter he would like to see it. He also expressed <br />concern about the noise issue, stating that he feels if the finding of consistency with the General <br />Plan and the Specific Plan is necessary, then those sound limits should apply. Chairperson <br />Sullivan advised that he would like to see the project come back and would like the applicant to <br />cousider the installation of solar systems on homes. He suggested that the applicant work with <br />the other builders in the Vineyard Corridor mad contact Don Osborne at the Sacramento <br />Municipal Utility District and Pat Stoner at the Local Government Commission about the <br />programs that exist for funding. He stated that he would like to see this practice included in the <br />Csreen Building program. Chairperson Sullivan voiced concern about the timeline, noting that it <br />doesn't sound as if the construction of the school is eminent. He stated that he is uncomfortable <br />about being placed in a position of baying to grant approval for development on a site on which <br />the community has opposed development in exchange for that developer's commitment to <br />construct the school.
