Chairperson Roberts noted that in the discussion related to roof heights on page 11, the <br />Commission agreed that there did not need to be a limitation of 30 feet for the building heights <br />and that there should be a variation of beights. <br /> <br />Mr. Gerry Brunken, 1753 Pasco Del Cajon, requested that on page 2 of the minutes the reference <br />to the "Bernal Property Specific Plan" be amended to the "GHC Specific Plan" to indicate the <br />Greenbriar proposal rather than the earlier San Francisco plan. <br /> <br />The minutes of the August 2 meeting were approved as amended. <br /> <br />Chairperson Roberts noted that prior to opening the meeting for the audience to address the <br />Commission, she would like the Commission to address Item 4. <br /> <br />4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairperson Roberts stated that she would like to hear Items 6.c. and 6.d. (the Nextel and Sprint <br />~pplic~tions) before the Bernal Avenue project to allow the Commission to spend as much time <br />as possible on the Bernal Project, noting that there were a number of people who had attended <br />several previous meetings for this hearing, but the items had been continued. The Commission <br />agreed to this. <br /> <br />It was noted that Item 6.a., PUD-81-30-81D-1M, Ruggeri-$ensen-Azar & Associates was <br />referred to the Zoning Administrator for resolution and has been removed fi'om the agenda. <br /> <br />Item 6.b., PUD-81-28-4M, Mitch Pereira, was continued to the August 23 meeting. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEI~mER OF TH~ AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS <br />Tile PLANNING COMb~q~IONON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY <br /> <br />Mike Duarte, 6665 Singletree Way, stated that he is the President of the Pleasanton American <br />Little League and he is representing youth baseball in Pleasanton. He commented on the over- <br />crowded situation for youth baseball at the Pleasanton sports park. He noted that the need for <br />additional soccer fields has been addressed, but with the addition of the Pony Baseball Program <br />there are issues with baseball field allocations and overuse of the fields. He asked that <br />consideration be given to providing lighted, dedicated fields for baseball in an area that would <br />not impact residences and would allow for more games to be played in the evening. <br /> <br />P~D-81-30-.81D-1M.
