July 2~. 2000 MNtem~, Minutes Chairperson Roberts requested that on page 1, under "Commissioners Absent" it be noted that she is the Liaison to the Housing Commission. Commissioner Arkin amended the last paragraph on Page 6 to read: "....He noted he would like to see all projects provide 15% of atfordable housing .... " Commissioner Sullivan amended the second paragraph on page 7 to read: "Vice Chairperson Sullivan noted that the free market has not provided the number of affordable units that are needed in the City and there is a need for an ordinance." Commissioner Sullivan amended the ninth paragraph on page 9 to read: "Vice Chairperson Sullivan requested that the developer examine utilizing non-old growth certified wood ..." Commissioner Arkin amended the sixth paragraph (comments by Mr. Robert Cordtz) on page 12 to read: "... In conclusion, he noted he would support the Crreenbriar plan." Commissioner Sullivan amended the second paragraph on page 15 to read: "...He noted that the Green Building standards reference accepted industry and government standards and that the residential and commercial Green Building standards were developed by the building industry and architects .... Commissioner Arkin ~tated that he would like the berm to be located closer to the freeway, since the use of the vacant property has not yet been determined. Commissioner Maas noted that in the ninth paragraph on page 5 the word "doomed" should read "domed." Chairperson Roberts amended the ninth paragraph on page 5 to read: "...Chairperson Roberts commented that the domed roof needs to be extended further."
