Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br />(Industrial/Commercial - Office) District. <br /> <br />Rcferred to the Zoning Administrator. <br /> <br />pI. EI)-81-28-4M. Mitch Pereira <br />Application for a major modification of an existing PUD Development Plan to allow the <br />construction of an approximately 7,700-square-foot, two-story commercial building <br />located on a portion of the existing parking/landscape area of the Plcesanton Station <br />property located at 30 W. Ne. al (fronting West Angela Street). The subject property is <br />zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C-O (Commercial-Office). The Planning <br />Commission will also consider a Negative Declaration prepared for the pwject. <br /> <br />Continued to August 23, 2000. <br /> <br />The Commission considered Items 6.c. and 6.d. as one item. <br /> <br />PDR-/~/FV-14. Nextel Comm~mieaflons <br />Application for design review to allow a wireless communications facility (including <br />antennas and equipment) to be located on the roof of an existing building located at 7399 <br />Johnson Drive (the Dublin San Ramon Services District property), and for a variance <br />from the Pleasanton Municipal Code to allow the wireless communications facility to be <br />located closer to residential and park areas than allowed per Code. Zoning for the <br />property is P (Public and Institutional) District. <br /> <br />PDR-4/YPV-15, Snrint PCS <br />Application for design review to allow a wireless communications facility (including <br />antennas and equipment) to be located on the roof of an existing building located at 7399 <br />Johnson Drive (the Dublin San Ramon Services District property), and for a variance <br />from the Pleasanton Municipal Code to allow the wireless communications facility to be <br />located closer to residential and park areas than allowed per Code. Zoning for the <br />property is P (Public and Institutional) District. <br /> <br />G-reg Plucker, Senior Planner, provided an overview of the proposal noting the location and <br />screening, and a review of an optional location. He noted that a number of letters, both opposing <br />and supporting the proposal, have been received. He stated that if the Planning Commission can <br />make the required variance findings, stauTis recommending approval of the applications subject <br />to the conditions in the staff'report. In response to a question from Chairperson Roberts, he <br />noted that the proposed facilities on the DSRSD site would be located approximately 626 feet <br />from the adjacent homes. <br /> <br />COMMENTS FROM THE APPLICANT <br /> <br />Bob Przybylo, Project Director for Nextel Communications, noted that they looked at four <br />alternative locations prior to submitting an application for the DSRSD site.
