<br />r- A motion was made by Commissioner Mus, seconded by Chairperson Roberts, to <br />recomaend approval to the City Council oCthe proposed PUD major modification subject <br />to the cenditions listed in Exhibit "B"; to include the condition that the building be <br />designed to be energy-efticient and generally seek to comply with the energy-efficiency <br />pideliaes oCtile U.S. Green Building Council; and to include the conditions of approval as <br />lilted ia the memorandum dated February 9, 2000 relating to the West Las Positss <br />iatercbange. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Arkin, Kameny, Maas, Sullivan and Chairperson Roberts <br />None <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-2000-10 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />A_nd-ent to the Stoneridft Retdonal ShoDDinl! Center DeveloDment A2reement <br />Application of the Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center (The Taubman Company) to <br />extend for one additional year (to December 31, 2000) the time for the City Council to <br />either confirm or revoke the approval of an additional 202,000 square feet of commercial <br />space. This will allow the W. Las Positas study committee additional time to complete <br />its review prior to the City Council's determination on the mall expansion. <br /> <br />r- <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan noted he would be abstaining from participating in Item No. 6C, due to <br />his previous participation on the West Las Positas Community Advisory Task Force. <br /> <br />Mr. Swift referenced a staffreport dated February 9, 2000, and highlighted key areas contained <br />in the report including background information and the proposed project. In conclusion, he <br />noted that staffs recommendation is for approval of the proposed modification to the "First <br />Amendment to Development Agreement." <br /> <br />Discussion ensued relating to a size comparison of this project to the Macy's building and issues <br />relating to traffic. <br /> <br />PUBLIC BEARING WAS OPENED. <br /> <br />Chairperson Roberts determined there were no public speakers for Item No. 6C. <br /> <br />PUBLIC BEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> <br />February 9, 2000 <br /> <br />Page 8 <br />
