III. <br /> <br />B. Classified Groups <br /> <br /> (1) Permitted - Local organizations using facilities for their own <br /> members. Examples of these types of groups would be service clubs, <br /> fraternal or a non-public recreation, education or welfare purpose <br /> group. <br /> (s) Non-money Raising Activities-See Fees and Rental Charges Policy <br /> (b) Honey Raising Activities-See Fees and Rental Charges Policy. <br /> <br /> (2) Counarelal and Non-Residents - Required to pay current fee and <br /> rental charges as established by the Recreation and Park Co--lesion <br /> and City Council on a periodic basis.. <br /> <br /> Requirements and Privileges for Co-Spo~orad Status <br /> <br /> A. Requirement of Qualification <br /> <br /> (1) Be organized to serve a worthwhile Comu~ity Leisure Opportunities <br /> purpose. <br /> <br /> (2) Unless special criteria applies, these groups are to be limited to <br /> groups whose program serves s broad segment of youth between the <br /> ages of eight ($) and eighteen (18). <br /> <br /> (3) Groups that request direct assistance must actively pursue a course <br /> of action that will put them on a self-supporting basis. That is <br /> with the exception that it is accepted that the City's responsibi- <br /> lity will be to make facilities available and will only charge for <br /> these facilities under special circnmstsncas...(i.e, when special <br /> extended costs are incurred). <br /> <br /> (4) Be incorporated through the State of California as a non-profit <br /> corporation. <br /> <br /> (5) Comply in intent and operation With all applicable principles pro- <br /> vided in City's Basic Program and Facilities Policy Resolution (now <br /> in the process of completion). <br /> (6) Hsintain au approved attendance level· (Recomnanded 100 per year or <br /> <br /> (7) Submit a monthly attendance report on forms provided by the Re- <br /> creation Department. <br /> (8) Comply with all rules and ~egulations related to the facility being <br /> <br /> (9) Keep the Director of Recreation or his designated representative <br /> informed of general program and special events. <br /> <br /> (10) File with the Recreation Department the groups By-Laws and/or <br /> Constitution~ submitting changes as they occur. <br /> <br /> (11) File with the Department, addresses and telephone numbers of <br /> o{ficars, inStructoes, or advisors semi-annually. (1/ay 15 and <br /> December 15), <br /> <br /> (12) Submit annually and upon request from the Director of Recreation, <br /> City Manager~ Recreation and Park Co,vMssion, or the City Council <br /> a budget and a year-end statement. An accounting of all income, <br /> expenditures, bills outstanding, and cash on hand shall be on a <br /> <br /> <br />
