Confidential employees assigned by their supervisor to work on a holiday shall be <br /> compensated for the holiday hours worked. Compensation shall be made either by <br /> monetary payment equal to twice that compensation established for regular time or by <br /> equivalent time off. The method of compensation shall be determined by the <br /> supervisor. <br /> See Appendix D for policies applicable to fire personnel. <br /> Section 6. Health and Welfare <br /> 6.1 Medical Insurance - Active Employees <br /> Management and confidential employees and their eligible dependents shall be <br /> offered enrollment in any one of the following three health plans: Kaiser S -1, Health <br /> Net (HMO) or Health Net (Point of Service). The maximum monthly City contribution <br /> toward the premiums of the health plan selected by the employee shall not exceed six <br /> hundred dollars ($600.00). <br /> 6.2 Medical Insurance - Retirees <br /> For management and confidential employees who retire from the City for service on or <br /> after September 1, 1996, the City shall pay for each year of City service four percent <br /> (4 %) of the monthly premium for the employee and one dependent of the City's current <br /> Kaiser S -1 health plan coverage. At the option of the employee and in lieu of the four <br /> percent (4 %) formula, the percentage of premium paid by the City shall be based upon <br /> the employee's years of service with the City as shown below: <br /> Years of Service City's Contribution <br /> 10 75% <br /> 15 80% <br /> 20 90% <br /> 25 100% <br /> Page 5 of 30 <br />
