dioa~tive material, and the disposal of this waste stream as toxic waste, shall be car- <br /> out. <br /> <br />The disposal of any radioactive materials in the sanitary sewer system shall be <br />avoided. Any radioactive material whi0,h is disposed in the sanitary sewer system <br />shall not result in anY measurable increase in radioactivity in the wastewater stream. <br />The City recommends that the material be stored for a period eq-,! to or greater <br />than twenty (20) half-lives, to assure that less than o~ie-millionth of the original <br />quantity of radioactivity is present. When lollg-lived isotopes, e.g., aH, 14C, etc., are <br />present in waste-water, no drain disposal isi~allowed. All radioactive materials must <br />be disposed of by a licensed, reputable f'lrm specializing in such operations. No re- <br />leases of radioactive materials shall take place into the atmOSphere. <br /> <br />Enfineering Requirements: <br /> <br />59. The paving sections for the on-site private street, parking, and ~lriveWay areas shall be <br /> de~i~.'gned on tbe basis of an R-Value test and a traffic index to carry the anticipated traffic <br /> IRs. Th~ design shall be subject to the approval of the Director °f Buil. ding Inspection. <br /> ~ millimum paving section shall bctwo inches (2") of asphalt concrete (A~C.) on a six <br /> ~ (6") asphalt base (A.B,). The minimum A.C. pavement slope shal! be one percent <br /> (1%). For pav~aent slopes l~ss than one percent~ (1%), thc surface runoff shall be carried <br /> in ~ coocrete gutter to an acceptable point of discharge. The ~inimum Slope for concrete <br /> gutter shall be 0.5%. <br /> <br />60. <br /> <br />The project developer shall submit a final grading and drainage plan prepared by a li- <br />censed civil engineer depicting all final grades and on-site drainage control measures, in- <br />eluding concrete-lined V-ditches, to protect all cut and fill slopes from surface water <br />overflow.
