The list shall include all materials with technical and common names, <br />the maximum amounts to be stored, the materials' Fire Code classification for the materi- <br />als, whether the materials will be stored or used in an open or closed environment, and <br />the Material Safety Data Sheets for all hazardous materials. <br /> <br />A hazardous materials management plan shall be prepared pursuant to the City's Hazard- <br />ous Materials Ordinance and the Uniform Fire Code. The plan shall be submitted to the <br />Fire Chief at least two (2) weeks prior to the building's occupancy. <br /> <br />The property or business owner shall submit to the Fire Chief calculations which show <br />the concentration of the worst-case spill from the most toxic and/or hazardous material <br />rele~ed at the point of discharge to the atmosphere. The discharge calculation shall <br />show the percentage of the "Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health (IDLH) concen- <br />tratien limit that is being released, to show the maximum exposure level that could possi- <br />bly be discharged from this facility. If this level is unacceptable in terms of risk to the <br />public's health and safety, a scrubber for the ventilation system shall be installed, subject <br />to the review and approval of the Fire Chief and Director of Building Inspection. <br /> <br />All haz~tions materials including solids, liquids, and gases, in either the pure, processed, <br />or waste state, shall be used and stored inside the building covered by this development <br />plan approval. <br /> <br />NFPA placards indicating the relative hazard of the facility shall be posted at all times at <br />the entrances to this building. The placards shall be posted in a location that is clearly <br />visible by firefighters. <br /> <br />National Fire Protection (NFP) 704 identification shall be posted on and within the <br />building according to the City's "Hazardous Materials Identification Sign" procedures. <br /> <br />The property owner agrees to adhere to the stipulation that there be "no-voluntary- <br />release" of baTzrdous wastes into the atmosphere or sanitary sewer, and accepts the fol- <br />lowiag terms: <br /> <br />a. Fume hoods shall not be used for the routine evaporation of volatile materials. <br /> <br />b.
