2. That the City of Pleasanton pledges to join with the <br /> Valley Cormmunity Services District in any feasible <br /> and desirable manner in order to assist the District <br /> in reaching a positive and constructive solution to <br /> the current sewage disposal crisis. <br /> <br /> 3. That with specific reference to the proposed <br /> solutions to resolve the immediate and intermediate <br /> capacity and operational problems the City of <br /> Pleasanton supports the efforts of the Valley <br /> Community Services District to make modifications to <br /> their Plant in order to accommodate present and <br /> projected flow at the Plant. <br /> <br /> 4. That with respect to the proposal to increase the <br /> present expansion from four (4) m.g.d, to five (5) <br /> m.g.d., the City of Pleasanton supports this proposal <br /> in order to accommodate current development obligations <br /> as well as provide capacity for pending commercial <br /> <br /> and industrial applications~ providing that the proposal <br /> is technically possible and providing that sufficient <br /> assurance is provided that the proposal will not <br /> create a public nuisance for City residents. <br /> <br /> 5. That the City of Pleasanton supports the long-range <br /> proposal of Valley Community Services District to <br /> i~aediately commence the planning, designing, and <br /> funding of the next plant expansion to eight (8) m.g.d. <br /> <br />6. That with specific reference to the suggestion that <br /> the so-called Camp Parks ponds be re-opened in order <br /> to provide partial solutions to both the immediate <br /> and intermediate sewage disposal problems, the City of <br /> <br />Pleasanton withholds <br />posal until at least <br />are met: <br /> <br />consideration to support this pro- <br />the following four (4) conditions <br /> <br /> <br />
