The following stormwater pollution-prevention measures
shall be implemented to reduce water quality impacts on Arroyo del
Valle:
Erosion and Sediment Control Practices: Erosion
and sediment control practices that may be used for the project include
minimizing the amount of area exposed at a given time, scheduling
grading and bridge work during the drier months (April to September),
preservation of existing vegetation to the extent practicable, temporary
and permanent seeding and mulching, dust control, fiber rolls,
stabilized construction entrances, tire washes, silt fencing, storm drain
inlet protection, temporary swales and sediment traps.

Post-Construction Storm Water Management
Measures: Post-construction stormwater management measures for
the project may include deep-sump catch basins, vegetated swales and
infiltration and/or detention basins.
