[C:\TEMP\~LF20001.BMP] <br /> <br />[C:\TEMP\~LF20002.BMP] <br /> <br />Septic tank shall include a properly designed and con- <br />structed drainage field for disposal. <br /> <br />It is not the intent of the City Council to allow <br />septic tanks on a permanent basis within the City <br />limits. <br /> <br />A septic tank will be considered for individual resi- <br />dential uses and for co~mnercial uses which do not <br />exceed the requirements of a single family residence· <br />Septic tanks will not be allowed to serve subdivisions. <br />Each application for a permit for septic tank approval <br />will 'be considered on its own merit, and the City <br />Council may ask for such information as it deems <br />necessary. This may include, but shall not be limited <br />to, requests for soils or geologic investigations <br />and reports t6 determine slope stability. In addition, <br />the Council shall consider each application relative <br />to its incremental iz%0act on the arealoutside of the <br />location of the septic tank. <br /> <br />Percolation tests, location and design ef the septic <br />tank shall be as reconm%ended by the Alameda County <br />Health Department prior to any action by the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />The permit, if issued, shall be limited to such a time <br />as a sewer becomes available or connection is allowed. <br />The applicant shall execute an agreement approved by <br />the City Attorney which will insure that the appiicant <br />will abide by all terms and conditions of this policy. <br />This agreement= shall be recorded at the applicant's <br />expense and shall be binding upon applicant's successors <br />in interest. <br /> <br />Applicant shall abide by all procedures established by <br />the City, through the Director of Public Works and <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
