Any failure of <br />the septic tank shall be the sole responsibility of the <br />applicant and prompt action shall be taken 'to repair <br />any failure. <br /> <br />Any wastes which are pz~hihited to be disposed of into <br />the Cityts sewage system by Article 3, Chapter 2, Title <br />II of the Ordinance C~de of the City of Pleasanton <br />(con~nencing with §2-/5.20) shall al~o not be disposed <br />of into an approved septic tank. <br /> <br />In general, a minimum five (5) acre site maintained <br />under single ownership for the life of the septic tank <br />will be required for approval. However, the owner of <br /> <br />any parcel which is one or more acres but less than <br />five acres in~ size which is on record in t~% OffJoe <br />~of the Recorder for Alameda C~unty on the effective <br />date of this resolution may apply for/aeptic tank <br />approval. A parcel, for purposes of this exception, <br />shall not be entitled to apply for septic tank approval <br />if it is split into lots which are smaller than five (5) <br />acres subsequent to the adoption of this resolution. <br /> <br />In general, a septic tank will not be allowed within <br />1000 feet of any other existing septic tank. <br /> <br />An applicant shall pey any and all fees p%rtaining to <br /> <br />a request for septic tank which may be established <br /> <br />by the City Council from time to time in the reso- <br />lution establishing fees and charges for v~rious <br />municipal s~rvices in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />The City Council, in approvinga septic tank request, <br />may ir~ose any conditions deemed necessary to protect <br />the public health, safety and genersd welfare. <br /> <br /> <br />
