2. Imnact P2. Potential adverse effects on residents and workers of possible future <br />soil and water contamination. <br />Mitieation Measure: <br />Measure P2. Prepare a Golf Course Management Plan. <br />Same as Measure Cob. <br />Findine: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the <br />project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect <br />identified in the Final EIR to a less than significant level. <br />Facts in Support of Finding: The impact will be avoided or reduced based on [he <br />following: <br />a. Site investigations and reviews of soil and ground water test results indicate <br />no substantial evidence of significant hazardous waste contamination at the site. <br />Compliance with existing Federal and State regulations, and with the policies and <br />programs set forth in the Pleasanton General Plaa, will minimize [he risk of future <br />contamination resulting from land use activities on the site. The Findings under <br />Impact C4 are incorporated by reference. <br />b. A golf cottrse is not proposed as part of the GHCBI Project, Phase I.. If a <br />golf course is considered as a possible use in Phase II for the currently unplanned <br />future public space, further environmental review will occur at that time. <br />O. Geology, Soils, and Seismic Safety <br />1. Im act 2. Material transfer requirements of the grading program result in <br />potential impacts on traffic, roads, and air quality during construction. <br />Mitieation Measures: <br />Measure Q2a. Prior to the issuance of any building, grading, or demolition permit, the <br />applicant shall prepare for approval by the City of Pleasanton a Construction Phasing <br />and Management Plan. (Same as Measure I8.) <br />Measure Q26. [n the specific plan and as a condition of approval for development, <br />require dust control duuing all phases of construction.
