Measure 77c(2). Design traffic circles to have appropriate dimensions and traffic <br />control signage for bicycle safety. <br />Findine: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the <br />project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect <br />identified in the Final EIR to a less than significant level. <br />Facts m Support of Findine: The impact will be avoided or reduced based on the <br />following: <br />a. This impact is similar to impact JSe described above. Mitigation Measure <br />77c(I) is identical [o Mitigation 75e and the findings thereunder aze incorporated by <br />reference. <br />b. Mitigation Measure J7c(2) will be implemented through Master PUD <br />Condition _ requiring appropriate dimensions and signage for bicycles at traffic <br />circles. <br />17. Impact J7d. Potential for conflicts between free-flowing vehicular traffic at the <br />Bernal Avenue ramps to/from I-680 and bicycle/pedestrian traffic on the Bernal <br />Avenue bike lane/ sidewalk. <br />Mitigation Measures: <br />Measure J7d(1). Direct pedestrian movements to one side of Bemal Avenue only to <br />minimize crossing of freeway ramps. <br />Measure J7d(2). Constmct dual right-turn lane freeway ramps to include a signalized <br />"demand-activated" crossing for pedestrians and bicyclists. <br />Measure J7d(3). During interchange redesign, consider designs that direct bicycle <br />traffic to use sidewalks through [he Bernal Avenue interchange. <br />Findine: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the <br />project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect <br />identified in the Final EIR to a less than significant level. <br />Facts in Supnorl of Finding: The impact will he avoided or reduced based on [he <br />following: <br />a.
