From Route 84 to the top of Sunol Grade. <br /> <br />7. 1-680/Alcosta Interchange. Capacity improvements' including replacement of southbound <br />off-ramp with hook ramp. <br /> <br />8. 1-580/Foothilllnterchange. Conversion to partial cloverleaf design. <br /> <br />9. Crow Canyon Road Salety Improvements. This project consists of realigning the roadway, con- <br />struction of shoulders and improving sight distance, all aimed at improving traffic flow <br />and safety on Crow Canyon Road between Bollinger Canyon Road and MM 4.45 (lo- <br />cated one-mile north of Norris Canyon Road). <br /> <br />10. Vasco Road Safety Improvements. This project consists of the realignment of Vasco Road <br />from the new Vasco Road to the Livermore city limit, without increasing the capacity <br />of the gateway. This is consistent with the standards used in the Vasco Road relocation <br />project by the Contra Costa Water District in conjunction with the Los Vaqueros reser. <br />voir project. <br /> <br />11. Express Bus Service. Capitol cOStS to establish or expand regional or interregional service. <br />The Strategic Expenditure Plan establishes funding priorities and programming of the <br />TVTDF revenue. <br /> <br />The following three projects are also included in the transportation plan but are prelimi- <br />narily considered by the TVfC to be of lower priority for the 2010 planning horizon. <br />These projects are considered important to the future of transportation in the Tri-Valley <br />but are not needed to meet the Transportation Service Objectives through 2010. <br /> <br />1. I~S80 HOY lanes. Completion of the HOV project on 1-580 from east of Vasco Road to <br />the Alameda County border. <br /> <br />2. 1~6'1O HOY Lanes. Completion of the 1-680 HOV lane project from 1-580 to Route 84. <br />This would create a system of continuous HOV lanes on 1-680 through the Tri-Valley. <br /> <br />3. 1-580/1-680 Interchange. Construction of the northbound to westbound flyover ramp. This <br />improvement has been identified by Caltrans as the next step in improving the 1.580/I~ <br />680 interchange. This second flyover ramp would eliminate all existing weaving sec- <br />tions. <br /> <br />BART Extension. The plan includes the BART extension to East Dublin with two stations in the <br />Tri-Valley.
