Resolution No. 00-033 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />C, <br /> <br />Measure J: "Should wastewater from treated sewage that has been further <br />treated with reverse osmosis (RO) technology be injected into the Valley's <br />groundwater basin that serves as the potable (drinking) water supply for <br />Pleasanton and the Livermore Amador Valley?" <br /> <br />Yes 5,206 <br />No 13,611 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the municipal election consisted of two ballot measures as stated above; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Measure I, which required a two-thirds yes vote to pass, and Measure J are hereby <br />declared defeated. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON APRIL 4, 2000 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br /> <br />APPROVED AS ~,~O~ <br />Michael H.
