STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> <br />I, BRADLEY J. CLARK, Registrar of Voters for the County of Alameda, State of Califomia, <br />having canvassed the returns of all votes cast in the City of Pleasanton at the Special Election <br />held on Tuesday, March 7, 2000, do hereby certify the following to be a full, true and correct <br />Statement of the Results of all votes cast at said election for and against the following measures: <br /> <br />Measure I: "Shall Pleasanton (1) purchase approximately 430 acres of <br />the 500 acre San Francisco Bemal Avenue property for community <br />facilities, open space and other public uses ("public uses") by (a) issuing <br />General Obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $50,000,000; (b) <br />approving residential development on 35+ acres and commercial/retail <br />development on 37+ acres to the extent necessary to raise the balance of <br />the purchase price; and (2) require voter approval of the City of <br />Pleasanton's plan for future "public uses"?" <br /> <br />MEASURE I YES 12,265 NO 6,890 <br /> <br />Measure J: "Should wastewater from treated sewage that has been further <br />treated with reverse osmosis (RO) technology be injected into the Valley's <br />groundwater basin that serves as the potable (drinking) water supply for <br />Pleasanton and the Livermore Amador Valley?" <br /> <br />MEASURE J YES 5,206 NO 13,611 <br /> <br />I further certify that the total number of ballots cast in the City of Pleasanton at said election was <br />20,495 and attached hereto is a complete statement of the results showing the number of votes <br />cas. t at each precinct for and against the measures. <br /> <br />I hereby set my hand and my official seal this 241h day of March 2000 at Oakland, Califomia. <br /> <br />B Y .
