WHEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLVED, <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />before Federal aid will be made available for urban <br />system projects within the Pleasanton Urban Area of <br />Alameda County, procedures and criteria for determin- <br />ing project priorities for the 3-year program must be <br />submitted to the California Department of Transporta- <br />tion for approval thereof; now, therefore, be it <br />that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda <br />hereby approves the following procedures and criteria <br />for determining Federal Aid Urban System projects in <br />the Pleasanton Urban Area and requests that they be <br />approved by the California Department of Transporta- <br />tion: <br /> <br />The Federal Aid Urban System Subcon~ittee for the <br />Pleasanton Urban Area, hereinafter called "SUBCOMMIT- <br />TEE," shall consist of the Director of Housing & <br />Community Development of the City of Pleasanton; the <br />Director of Public Works of the County of Alameda; a <br />representative from the District 04 Office of the <br />Department of Transportation of the State of Califor- <br />nia; a representative from the Metropolitan Transpor- <br />tation Commission; and a representative from the Bay <br />Area Rapid Transit District. In the event additional <br />transit service is provide in the Pleasanton Urban <br />Area by an agency other than BARTD, said transit a- <br />gency may appoint a representative from that agency to <br />the SUBCOMMITTEE. <br /> <br />Nominations of projects on the Federal Aid Urban Sys- <br />tem within the Pleasanton Urban Area shall be sub- <br />mitted to the Director of Public Works of the County <br />of Alameda. These requests may be submitted by the <br />City, the State, and the Bay Area Rapid Transit Dis- <br />trict or by the County. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
