Section 3. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />Section 6. <br /> <br />Submitted projects shall be referred to the SUBCOM~IT- <br />TEE for review in the preparation of a recommended <br />3-year program. The priorities of submitted requests <br />will be based on the following criteria: <br />a) State of readiness (status of plans, specifica- <br /> <br />tions, estimate, EIR, approvals, agreements, com- <br />mitment of local funds, etc.) <br />b) Benefit to fixed guideway mass transit (BARTD) <br />c) Benefit to proposed or existing bus service or <br /> <br /> routes. <br /> <br />d) Benefit to freeways or freeway access. <br />e) Transportation corridor benefit. <br />f) Status of needed segments in adjacent jurisdic- <br /> <br /> tj_ons. <br /> <br />g) Bendfit to total transportation in people trips <br /> <br /> per day (increase in needed capacity). <br /> <br />h) Benefit to accident history <br /> <br /> i) Traffic relief to other streets or roads. <br /> <br />The 3-year program shall be referred to the Pleasan- <br />ton City Council for approval. Following action by <br />the City Council, the subcommittee shall submit the <br />3-year program to the Board of Supervisors for appro- <br />val. <br /> <br />The 3-year program, as approved by the Board of Super- <br />visors, shall be transmitted to the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission by March 1 of each year for <br />review of projects as to conformance with the Region- <br />al Transportation Plan. <br /> <br /> Said 3-year program shall also be transmitted by <br /> March 1 of each year to the District Director of the <br /> California Department of Transportation for approval. <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br /> <br />
